Lachezar Lachev, 58, is a chef with over 15 years of experience in Greece, Turkey and Italy, and the owner of several restaurants. He prepared his first paella back in 2001 on the island of Paros, inspired by a Spanish master. For him, paella is a journey of flavors, and the competition is a stage on which he wants to show his passion for cooking.
